ABOUT US

Society for Community Participation and Empowerment (SCOPE) is a registered NGO, registered at Dharwad, Karnataka. It serve the farming community from the year 2000 with the aim of supporting small and marginal farmers with Natural Resource Management(NRM) based livelihood projects, Partnership with Gram Panchyats, working with school going children on various development related projects.

SCOPE is a non-profit making registered society with registration No.SOR/141 dated 13th September 2000. Society is a non-political and secular organization. Organization has 80 G and FCRA permission to receive foreign grants/donations.

MISSION

The mission of the SCOPE is to create opportunities of sustainable improved livelihood for the rural communities, especially the poor, women and other disadvantaged sections of the society, through community mobilization, empowerment and participation. And to assist people to choose appropriate technologies for improved management of natural resources for better livelihood, providing support to communities to achieve better environment, quality of life and value system.
